ELF Haul No. 2

Immediately after the Cyber Monday sale, E.L.F held a deal that was: spend 35$ and you get a free 25$ gift card.. I thought.. what the hell, may as well. Some things I wanted actually came back in stock in that very short time. Others I simply didn't notice at all and decided to give it a shot this time around. One of my items was missing so everything total'ed to 32$. Not bad for all of this, plus a gift card for a future purchase, though I can't imagine there's much I want to try left. I ordered on December 2nd and came on December 14th which I didn't think was too long considering I think they are completely swamped with orders.  I really like trying all of this really inexpensive make-up and like I've said in the previous posts, all of their deals definitely make it worthwhile. It's a great way to try out lots of things one normally wouldn't. My kitty also really wanted in on this picture

One of the things I purchased was the Studio Blush in Fuchsia Fusion which is absolutely gorgeous! It is a very pigmented dark pink with lots and lots of golden glitter. I also own Pink Passion which seems to be the glitter-less version of a similar very pinky colour (jk, pink passion is a much more deeper pink while this is a shimmery light-ish pink). I really love both of them. Super pretty!
I wanted to try the Tone Correcting Powder ever since it was introduced in the Studio Line a few years ago. However, it seemed to be always out of stock when I was going to make an order. Somehow, I totally forgot about it my last order so I snatched it right up. It comes in a very large sized compact with four different colours: yellow, blue, green and pink. I haven't really tried this completely but using the product separately should work well. I think this is really nice for my oily prone skin. The yellow really compliments the Cover Everything Concealer in yellow. Green will also be very nice to cover redness. One needs a light hand as this will get easily too powdery.

I am a very big fan of their Eyebrow Kits. It comes with a gel and powder in a cute little mirrored compact. It seems they changed the packaging from how they used to be since they added a new little window. I have this in the Ash colour since my hair is blond and I think this would be great for people with lighter coloured hair. I previously used Dark which is way too dark for my eyebrows right now, but it works great. The little brush that comes with it is ok, but I'm personally not a huge fan of it.

Another product that seemed to be always sold out was the Kabuki Brush. I've always wanted to try it so I'm glad I got it in this round. It is very dense, very cute and very soft. I think this would be perfect for buffing in powders and will probably work very well with the HD Powder that E.L.F also sells. This one is 6$.

The Jumbo Lip Glosses are from the essential line and are relatively new products so I wanted to try them out. They are 2$ each. They come as a big crayon looking thing and are big and cute looking. They don't have as much colour payoff as I'd like, but they have a nice smooth consistency and the subdued colours are pretty. I got "In the Nude" and "Summer Nights". I showcased "Summer Nights" in the second picture because it is very glittery! It is really pretty though and I'd recommend these.

I also got these products from the Essential Line as I have never tried these before. I'm assuming that the Cover Everything Concealer is fairly new since it is also another 2$ product. I got it in Yellow and I have to say, it is very nice. It's great for undereye circles because it immediately brightens up the area and I apply regular concealer over it and it is fairly pigmented, creamy and covers fairly well. I would say this is a win product.

The Duo Eyeshadow Cream in Coffee and Cream is quite nice as well. This makes a really nice eyeshadow base because it really holds colour and it's slightly tacky and sticky. I really love the white because it's a pretty shimmery colour that is great for the inner corners of my eyes. You need to melt the colour a little with your fingertips and I'm not sure how it will fare on oilier eyelids but it's worked well for me so far.

Last, but not least I got a bunch of random Essential Line items that I thought were worth a try. I already got a ton of shimmer eyeliner pencils with my last haul but the Grassy Green was out of stock so I picked this one up as well. I'm a pretty big fan of these pencils because they are pretty and fairly easy to put on. They don't work on the waterline at all for me. I can put things on there pretty easily but these pencils just burn and irritate the hell out of it. It's nice for having an eyeliner in another colour and they are pretty colours that glide on easily enough and stay on fairly well.

As well, I received an Eyelash Curler which is revered all around. I think I must have a much older version of it since my old one is a different shape and not quite as.. hard? There's a much firmer grip on this one. It does a great job on my short and stubby lashes.  I'm glad they included a spare pad for the curler. I also got a very basic Brow Comb since my current one is old and in disarray and it works well for what it is. I wanted to try a lip balm and I think these are very nice for the price. They remind me of Soft lips packaging wise and for a dollar I think they're worth it. They feel a little greasy but it's a balm, so I don't know what else one would expect. I received Blackberry and to be honest, the smell is a little off putting for me but I can deal with it. I feel like it stays on my lips for a long time as well. I also got another eye primer in Sheer since before I got Champagne. A thing to note about Champagne that I didn't know before is that it's remarkably shimmery with lots of glitter. I also got a clear brow/eyelash mascara which I'll pretty much only use for my eyebrows but it's a good product that keeps them happily in place. When I run out on one end, I'll just switch them around.

Two nailpolishes were the last things I ordered. They are now 2$ and I honestly don't know when that happened since they only used to be a dollar. I got it in Mint Creme and Dark Glitter Purple that I recently just wrote about in my last post. There is lots and lots of nailpolish colours on their site and I chose these because they matched my hair and my mint coloured wig. They're pretty and a nice size so I think they're worth it. Make sure you have a good top coat and look at swatches before you place an order for them.

Well, that's the end of this long make-up post. I now have a 25$ gift card so I'll probably make another order in the future but none planned so far~
