Decided to start a dubbing youtube channel for jpop idol songs~♥

Dunno what inspired this.. I've followed dubbing groups on youtube for a long time~

Ever since I started getting into idols... I've recorded lots of songs over the years

and though they have all been long deleted and forgotten~

I recently bought a new microphone and started recording again

but never thought of posting them myself...

Ah well, decided to get over that ^  ^

And not be scared and do what I enjoy.

I am still very much a novice at it...

And my pronuncations and singing may be rough

But I hope with time I will improve.

Anyways, here is the first song I've uploaded

Which is AKB48's "Give Me Five"~!

The making of the video took a lot longer than expected

but that comes with learning things for the first time...

But I'm glad it's up now and that it's been finished.

Ipsy June 2013

Finaaaally received my Ipsy bag this month~

Usually I get it a little earlier considering many people got theirs before mine

I'm a patient enough person though and I waited until it showed up~

I got to see what I received in my glam room before I got it

so I anticipated what colours I would end up with at least...

Last month wasn't a great month for ipsy personally~

But this month was shaping up to be somewhat better.

Anyways~ 

Here is what I got.

The bag~

I am honestly not really in love with this bag.

I like leopard print and it can look really cute~

But the neon zipper is a little too much for my tastes

If it was black and had a bit of a more classic taste

I'd find it a bit easier to take out~

♥Starlooks Lip Pencil in Bare [Full Size | 12$]

After getting a red lipliner last month, I was fairly unimpressed. I was worried I'd end up with a bright colour once again. I was pleased to find that I got a brown-ish neutral. I am honestly not sure how much this will suit me but I'm sure I can make it work better than a flashy red. I hope they stop with lipliner soon or at least list it as some sort of option to say I don't like it. This is my second one in a row now and I don't like or wear them~~ I also found it a bit of a coincidence that I got a Starlooks product in the ipsy bag this month and I just subscribed to that box last month. ^_^

♥NYX Cream Blush in Natural [Full Size | 6$]

Colour is very good! I was worried I'd end up with a bronzey colour again. Honestly though... I thought, shit. :p I put on my profile I have oily skin... and I got the opposite of what I need. Ack. I've never really tried a cream blush but I do have really oily skin and summertime is just amplifying that. The colour is really pretty and I'll try it but I don't have high hopes. I really wanted one of the powder ones~ Oh well.

♥J.Cat Beauty Sparkling Creme Palette in Volta [Full Size | 4.50$]

This little controversial item in the bag~ Glitter and sparklies are my favourite thing and I really thought this palette was extremely prettttty when I saw it. Unfortunately, they advise putting it anywhere near your eyes. It's like, huh.. what am I supposed to use it for then? General... glitteryness for everyday life? It's a shame, it is really pretty! I like staring at it in the palette. I guess it could be used for special occasions. I dunno. It's just sparkly and I like it.

 

♥Cailyn Cosmetics Gel Eyeliner in Purple [Full Size | 21$]

The design of this is pretty nifty and I'm a big fan of gel liner. I was hoping for the Iron colour but this colour is pretty dark swatched so I think it can work~ I think this would have looked lovely with my purple hair. Honestly, I think a lot of my unused ipsy product colours would look nicer on me if my hair was a tad darker. Ah well~ I will have fun with this though. It's the highest value item and I will get use out of it.

♥Chella Highlighter [Full Size | 18$]

I am most most most happy with this one! This is the most practical thing in the bag that I know I will get a lot of use out of. I really love to use highlighter in the inner corner of my eyes and my water line and this is the perfect colour for it. I'm really happy with the quality and that I got it in my bag. ^_^

Overall, I am much happier with this bag than I am last month

and I will definitely stick with them since it is nearly guaranteed I'll get something I like.

It seems like they are at least trying with the match making but there are still lots of flaws.

As long as there is one thing I like, it makes it worth the 10$ to me

and getting to try new things really pushes me out of my comfort zone~

The value of my bag this month is ~60$ which is a fantastic value.

Especially since everything in my bag was also full size~

So ipsy really redeemed themselves from last month for me. ^_^

Farmville 2

I have been really addicted to Farmville 2 lately u__u~~

I've never even played the first one or most facebook games like this

Hell, I don't even have a facebook~

But for some reason, I got curious one day

and decided to play it and now I've stuck with it for.. 

maybe two weeks now?

I've been on it everyday tending to my farm ^_^

I've set aside my backlog of games on steam to play this, lol...

What has it come to u__u~~

Oh, and my chicken are hungry 'cause I let them starve.

Walking Dead Game : Episode One

I finished playing The Walking Dead game about a week ago and wanted to share my thoughts and choices~

Since the results are very spoiler-y, I put them under a cut.

Overall, I went into this game semi knowing some big spoilers but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was also really shocked during some moments and this game really made me quite emotional.

Overall, I highly highly recommend it, especially to fans of point and click, a good story or just zombies.

Of course, also.. fans of the series itself.

I really was fond of most of the characters,

especially little Clementine and Lee himself.

Each episode was a roller coaster of emotions,

but I managed to push through it and beat it all in two days.

I really can't have imagined waiting months in between,

so I feel lucky that I was able to play it all at once!

And also be hit in the emotions fairly quickly as well...

Well... onto my choices and semi review of the episodes~

In each post I'll review one each...

I tried to fit them in one post but...

It turned out far too long.

Anyways, under the read more! 

So, I had been wanting a decent USB Mic for awhile

And the best selling one is the Blue Yeti

I was going to purchase it a few weeks ago

but literally minutes after putting it in my cart

It hopped from 80$ to 100$ right away >_<

I thought that I would wait for it to go down again

It took a couple weeks but one morning I managed to find it that cheap again

And right away I jumped to it and bought it to find that it went up again

Right after I purchased it!

Microphone prices sure do inflate and deflate a lot....

Anyways, I got my package in the mail yesterday

and thought I would share some pictures of this microphone~!

The packaging itself is really nice and the pictures of yeti's on the back are a cute touch.

It gives all the basic information and the basic settings and how to's on the microphone~

If anything, I was more in awe of how beautiful this microphone is!

Weird thing to say about a microphone.. but it's so shiny and huge D:

It has a really neat design and looks really nice on my desk.

It has two buttons in the back which is a gain control and volume control~

Really nice to have on the microphone itself.

A closer look at the settings....

When you turn the microphone around, it kind of makes a face and body

Doing a :O Pose... 

I like that there is a headphone jack on here and that the usb can be disconnected

It helps when I am done using the microphone and I can just unplug and store it.

The four different recording settings are really nice.

I've been experimenting with them and what sounds the best with my voice..

Cardiod has been my favourite so far~ (The one it is already set on)

I also bought apop filter~

Which is really nice and somewhat necessary if you are going to be recording vocals.

I bought this nice and basic one here off of amazon as well.

Though the Blue Yeti base is a little awkward for this type of thing

It managed to fit on it well and it manages to not look too awkward~

Overall, I really love the sound of this microphone~

It's incredibly easy to use, just plug in and open up any audio recording program.

I've been really impressed with the quality of it and the design is a nice plus as well~

Overall, I'm glad I waited for this microphone to go down in price.

I was going to get a Snowball when this went up price,

but I listened to a video on youtube comparing the sound,

and this one had the most appealing features and sound for me.

Rome Total War

Right now the daily deal for Steam....

Is Rome Total War for a $1~

And incredible steal

and totally worth playing if you're a fan of the series.

2013 AKB48 Election Results

So from my prediction result...

I nearly got all the top 7 correct~

Except the top three~!!

Though, there are lots of girls that I really like

and many that I would like to comment on~~

I will only comment on the girls that are most memorable to me now~

All in all..

It's hard to be disappointed in any ranks

Because the fans and girls all tried their best

And in the end, we should be happy with the support they have been shown

Anyways....

Congrats to Sashihara!!

I didn't think she could take number one

but she proved me and nearly everybody wrong~!

Her fans have really proven their dedication

And I am very.. bemused but pleased with these results~♥

I know lots of haters of her think she doesn't deserve it

or that because she made a mistake in her past...

But she goes to show that even if you make a mistake

you can always redeem yourself from it..

That it shouldn't hold you back forever

That even if you're not perfect

You can still be number one~♥

Yuko handled her second position like a champ...

When the top two came, it just seemed much more lighthearted

and the silly banter between her and Sashihara was endearing.

I'm glad Oshima doesn't take this with sadness or bitterness..

But more or less amused by the unpredictability of these results.

Her and her fans have really been mature throughout this whole ordeal..

Even though personally, seeing Yuko as number one would have been my ideal

Seeing her smiling face throughout the end has been good enough ♥

The biggest thing I am sad about though..

Is Mariko graduation announcement. ;__;

Though it is expected, the timing was very unexpected

so I was very, very sad and I couldn't help but cry

I will really miss her in AKB...

I was also incredibly happy

With Jurina ranking number 6!!

And breaking into Kami7...

I am so proud of my baby~♥

I hope she can realize not to overwork herself..

Because she is doing just fine~

And she has a lot of support and love her way.

I just hope Mariko graduation doesn't hurt her too much... ;__;

I am also very happy with Minegishi's rank..

Despite her scandal, her rank didn't drop too much...

When I saw her come down the stairs

I was shocked at her short hair~

But she looks very cute

and looked prepared to accept anything

I hope she realizes that lots of people still support her

And that hopefully, she will have another year to rank higher again~

I also really enjoyed Paruru...

She ranked 12 which is still very good~

and I hope she only continues to climb

Though her personality is very hard to grasp..

I have such a soft spot for this girl

And her speech and expressions were priceless

She was definitely very interesting to watch

And from the baka test, I can only see her as lizard eyes~

She is a very my pace girl.. and I relate to her a lot

Her awkwardness is incredibly endearing~

and I'm glad she rank this high.

Well...

It was an exciting election

and lots of new changes~

I'm curious to hear the songs

and see the pv's to come!

Also, I was happy to see Haruppi in the shot during all the speeches ^__^

And I am happy with her and Sakuratans rank as well!!

I only wish Annya could have ranked with them...

Marvel Heroes

So, Marvel Heroes just came out~~

I played the Beta when it was open before...

and really enjoyed the game!

It is like a dungeon crawler such as Diablo or Torchlight

but with Marvel characters instead~

The sad thing is that you can only choose from a few characters from the beginning

and the only two female characters are Scarlet Witch and Storm

I tried them both in beta and enjoyed them both but ultimately found them similar

Since Scarlet Witch was the first one I played in beta, I chose her for the final game

After the prologue, you also get another one of the beginner characters

but it's completely random...

Me and my boyfriend are Scarlet Witch and The Thing...

and guess who we both ended up with as our secondary characters

ahaha... maybe if we ever want to play opposite day.

All character token drops are random which is kind of a negative for me

but alas, they must make the money somehow and this is a free to play game!

So, I find the challenge of collecting them somewhat fun...

I didn't get too far in the actual beta because I wanted to savor the game

and not spoil everything~ so I got further than I ever had before

Since it is free to play

there is no harm in trying~

Especially if you like comics...

or you're a fan of marvel comics

Airi falls a bit since C-ute doesn't have my attention very much these days and the new Morning Musume girls are overtaking her. Ikuta Erina is new in my rankings though she teeters this area quite a bit. I like her but other girls I like nearly as much as her. Kanazawa Tomoko replaces Miyamoto Karin from my last ranking as my Juice=Juice favourite. This last spot may change a bit. I'm getting a good feeling from Juice=Juice and this girl so far has impressed me.

My top two are never going to change. Jurina is my kami-oshi and Takamina is my AKB oshimen. Basically, Shinoda and Kojima really climbed my rankings this month just because I've been a little more interested in them and it caused everyone else to drop around 2 places. Sayaka  jumps up a little in my rankings as well and Paru has the biggest jump of all since I am falling for this girl little by little more. Haruppi and Sakuratan unfortunately fall quite a bit but mainly because the other girls just climbed a bit higher in my rankings for now. Though HKT ended up all towards the bottom, I still like them a lot~ Once the older girls graduate, I'm sure they'll be pretty high in my rankings. Yamauchi Suzuran is the new girl in my ranking pushing Yamada Nana out simply because I have a thing for short haired cuties and I'm getting more interested in the new gen members I haven't paid much attention to in the past.
