My favourite idol releases from this month!

Of course, Sousenkyo single is my best single this month. When the audio for this was released, I was taken aback by the fact that it wasn't the usual Summer anthem. It sounded like a folky electro version of Kaze wa Fuiteiru (another AKB single that I really love). I think this song is fantastic and the PV is really well made. The plot lacks and really isn't as good as some of their best pvs but the imagery is lovely and the song lyrics has a nice message.

Kikkawa You

This is an 18 minute long idol song (!!!) and they released this and promoted it based on this fact. I think many aspects of this song are really lovely and I understand the gimmick of making it super long but I think split in three would have made great songs and pv's! The budget of the PV isn't the best but even so, I think it turned out really nice. I managed to watch the whole video without being bored (which I can't say the same for some other  standard 4 min. idol videos, but I think that's a testament to how much I enjoy Kikka's music!)

There actually weren't that many others I was interested in this month?? If I recall correctly, there wasn't a single Hello!Pro release this month which is weird and now I feel they are going to be all bundled together later this summer. It's ok, because these two releases were really nice and exciting enough to make up for the lack of releases for me, this month.

☆ Milkidoll Cover/Dub Updates! ☆

 My second Love Live cover~!

I play these songs so much it's hard to not get them stuck in my head. When I first heard this while playing SIF, I thought the heck?? This is a Love Live song? Sounds more like an A-rise song to me, but it is great! I know I say I don't like Maki a lot but I love her songs and I have a love/hate relationship with her always infiltrating my cards. Don't worry though, I secretly do like her a lot (like all the rest of the u's girls~)

I actually have already recorded the three songs from the Soldier Game single that I originally conceived as a medley. Recordings are already done/mixed for Umi and Eli's solo's  but I decided to go with a Daring solo instead. It's not that I don't like their songs, but something wasn't clicking. Maybe I might put them on soundcloud instead but as of now, they won't get a video.

Garasu no Hanazono will be weird since I will try my best to record them seperately, one in a deeper ~eli~ voice and another in a more nasally ~nozomi~ voice which could turn out ok, or turn out terrible, but I plan on doing it! I want to stick to mostly solo's/subgroups. I also want to do Yume no Tobira since I sung that with my Love Live group and figured I wanted to dub the Japanese version! (And it has a video which will be nice since all of the above songs do not) I also want to do Snow Halation and I recorded it last winter and it turned out quite bad, but I think I have a better hang of it now!

Anyways! 

That is not to say that I am not going to do j-idol dubs because my next release will be Resonant Blue which is a Platinum era Momusu song but one of my faves released from that time. I also want to dub Bokutachi wa from AKB's newest single and I want to tackle some Manatsu no Sounds Good this summer. Since I had done two dubs this month, I am trying to pick up my pace lately! I will aim for the same or better next month~!

☆~May Doll Haul~☆

Just some doll buys from May~

My most favourite purchase, the Original Ghouls 6 Pack!

I had been eyeing this pack ever since it was announced since I really love any chance to own any of the original ghouls. Though the quality and craftsmanship of the outfits isn't the same, I didn't mind. I own the original Ghoulia and Cleo but I don't own their stock, so I jumped at this chance to own both of them. I bought it for 50 dollars during a sale on Walmart.com. I had originally missed the first sale but I pretty much stalked the page until it came back in stock days later. I was pleasantly pleased with no wonk eye as well, since with these multi packs, that tends to be a slight issue.

I also purchased a duplicate Holly and Poppy~

As stated before, I like to purchase duplicates of the original Signature EAH dolls and this pack was on sale at Target for 10 dollars so I had to grab 'em. I took a comparison picture with the top dolls being my previous Holly and Poppy and the bottom being the new gals. The faceups differ a lot between the two with me preferring my original dolls. It makes me unsure which to keep in box since I like the look of the top dolls but I also want to fix the bottom dolls hair (ie the top dolls look better in the box)

Also, bought ~another~ Casta Fierce and got a Frankie vinyl

This is also my second Casta since with the special Signature dolls, I like to have one in box, like Catty Noir. There was a cartwheel deal for her and also a buy one doll, get a free vinyl so I thought it was a great deal. I picked Frankie since she would match my chaser figure. I also want to get Draculaura but she is missing from the stores around me.

I also finished my Hybrid collection with Avea + my free vinyl Clawdeen

I received Bonita and Sirena as presents for Christmas but I had put off purchasing Avea which may not have been the best idea since her doll prices kept climbing on Amazon. There were a few of her shelf warming at my Target and I decided to finally purchase her since I knew I would also get a free vinyl with her. I chose Clawdeen since she would complete my trio of Frankie and Draculaura (when I get her >_>)

Anyways!

These are my doll purchases of May and I don't think I'll be purchasing any more this month. I am really happy with everything I got but alas the amount of unopened dolls I have is climbing. I really need to open them but I also don't have anywhere to display them at the moment. I really need to buy new shelves and bookshelves.

I pulled a UR! (Finally!)

I am obsessed with School Idol Festival!

I started playing back in.. September, I think? I have constantly played on my EN account which is now rank 102. I haven't pulled an UR on there yet but I made a side JP account to pull through whenever I get the urge to soloyolo on EN lol~ Anyways, I figured I would just keep rerolling JP accounts to see if I can get an UR. I don't know how many accounts I went through on there, but I at least went through ten, I think?? Well, I rerolled again like usual and pulled nothing on my scouting pull. Okay, happens like usual. My next 5 gem pull was SR Flight Attendant Maki. Grrr, I always pull Maki! This was kind of like a precursor to me thinking this account will be Maki cursed. (like my EN account tends to be)

Anyways, this morning I was suuuper sleepy around 8 am after this AKB48 preliminary announcements and as I was lying in bed, I decided to soloyolo with my daily beginner gems on JP and out came a normal card and I was like "ok, this is normal." THEN IT TRANSFORMED INTO AN UR ENVELOPE and I was screaming on the inside!! Then out popped the new UR Honoka and I was so, so excited! I was literally shaking and had to wake up boyfriend next to me to tell him how excited I was (and he look at me, said yay quietly, and rolled back to sleep) 

The card is sooo cute! Honoka is one of my favourite members! I am just happy that I ended up with an UR of one of my best girls and a card I think is so cute. I was just looking at cards last night with boyfriend and commenting on which ones I loved and that I'd love to pull this one for her cute smooshy face. I'm just super happy. 

Sorry for this novel.. I was just really starting to think I'd never get an Ultra Rare but I did! Now to just get one on EN now...

Kawaii Box gets! (✿◠‿◠)

I know this is technically April..? but the way they do the months now confuses me so I am going to say this is the May Kawaii box because they are technically sent out in May. This month was super cute with lots of pink and pastel items! A super kawaii month. Here's everything that came inside!

Overall, this whole box was suuuper cute!

Nothing I dislike in this box this month, super worth it~

Did my first Love Live Cover!

Been really addicted to the game and I play these songs over and over..

So, it wasn't hard to find the inspiration to do a cover of it (^_^)/

I picked a song that doesn't necessarily suit my voice the best

but sometimes it is fun to try something new every once in awhile.

So, here is my cover of Soldier Game!

The song is very punchy and has a lot of energy

I did become out of breath a lot during the song

It sings constantly when you're just by yourself!

But.. it's still really fun to sing and has a lot of attitude

so I hope that I did this song justice a little bit
