Just some stuff I got for 70% off at Target! There wasn't much left but I was able to get some neat things! The most surprising thing was all of the leftover Christmas Hello Kitty things. I think this is my first haul in awhile that does not feature any doll/toy things.

Now that all the (shortened) versions of AKB's Green Flash Songs have come out, I have decided to rank what I think are the best to worst. Since I haven't heard the full songs (or listened to them that much for that matter), this can't be a true ranking but I am going by the PV and the bits of the songs that I have heard. My ranking will likely change in the future but these are my first impressions ranking. Of course, this is all just my opinion so please don't be offended if I dislike a song that you like (^_^)/

I really like SKE's darker songs so I rank this at the top It helps that it also has a pretty interesting looking MV probably the most interesting of the bunch. I actually really like the song and the PV~ I like the more darker feel that SKE and HKT were going for.

I think the PV and the song are cute. I don't have much to say about it beyond that (^_^;)
I like what they were trying for the song, but not the song itself. I really like R&B jpop ballads but I'm just not feeling this one. Also, I just don't really like all the crying in the PV.

I am a fan of idols trying more punk/rock songs but I felt this lacked energy The PV also looks cool but at the same time suuuper cheesy The fake instrument playing especially. Could've been awesome but I'm just not a fan.

I feel both these songs lack a lot of energy but this one has a tad bit more than Majisuka Fight so it gets to rank a little more higher.

Overall, I don't really love the songs from this single that much Some of the PVS seem really interesting, but overall.. I have felt like this for the past lot of AKB singles But, SKE and HKT's songs and PVs continue to impress me!
Been really wanting to sign up for a more gamer/geeky oriented subscription box since both me and boyfriend enjoy them and I wanted him to have his own sub box since I already have Kawaii Box. I did a fair bit of research to see which one I think he would like and I settled on 1-up box which is a fairly new sub box. I thought about Lootcrate and Nerdblock but Nerdblock was a bit too expensive and Lootcrate didn't have the guaranteed T-shirt so I decided to settle on 1-up box which is around the same price as Lootcrate and had the guaranteed t-shirt. Anyways, we signed up for February's box which was themed Apocalypse and seemed to be more oriented towards The Walking Dead which we both enjoy a lot so we were definitely looking forward to this months box!

Here was the card that came with the box this month detailing everything that came in the box. I always appreciate when boxes have this!
The main item in this box, the T-Shirt!
Boyfriend really enjoyed this one. A cute play on Super Smash Bros with a Daryl themed Kirby attacking walkers. Not just any walkers either, but wind-up ones like the ones that came in the box! I thought that was really neat. They incorporated one of the items in the box with the art style. It shows that there is definite thought that goes into the making of these shirts. Also, it seems really soft and pretty decent quality!
The second item is another Walking Dead themed item! These little wind-up toys. We were just looking at these in the store today too. We're glad we got Michonne since she's an awesome character and not just some random walker. This was randomized 1 out of 7!
Third item was this little Mushroom tin filled with candy! This one is Sour Cherry but there was also the option to get Sour Apple. The tin seems to be of good quality if not a tad bit hard to open for me. :p
This was also on the back of the info card! We kinda missed this when we did the video. There is a Design Your Own Mushroom contest but I don't want want to ruin the cute little mushroom! I'm glad they have a contest for subscribers though, that's a cool way to engage the sub community.
Fourth item was this play on Counter Strike - "Zombie Strike".
A little stress ball grenade.
And the fifth item in the box was this Spray Hand Sanitizer, also Zombie themed!
Not counted on the card was this Zelda themed sticker set with Navi at the top yelling "Hey Listen!" and a 1-up box pin with Kirby and a zombie themed background behind him.
Overall, I am really happy with the quality of this box! I like that they stuck with a theme and tried to make everything incorporate around it (with the exception of the Mushroom candy, but hey, it's cool and I don't mind it n_n) I think this box was a great value for the 18.90 a month price point. The guaranteed exclusive t-shirt makes it definitely worth it and the others are great bonuses. I'm excited to see the theme for the next month because we will definitely stick with this sub box if it retains this type of quality!
So, I finally watched the sequel to this series last night!
Oh wow.. I have a lot of thoughts about it. Spoilers ahead..!
I didn't know what to expect even though it had been out for awhile. I had not read any spoilers or seen anything from it. I think it's just a tad bit too old to really accidentally see spoilers from it. I was most impressed with the animation/music in the movie. I had always been interested in the disturbing Witch's labyrinths and the imagery was all over this movie. The visuals were definitely awesome. The battles were really great. I was thoroughly impressed.
The ending 20 minutes is where I start to divert like a lot of people. I understand the reasonings behind the creators for ending it like that. For some, Homura may have been in or out of character. It was an interesting move but not one I was such a fan of. I am curious to see how they may take this story further if they decided to make further sequels.
I was most happy with the new character "bebe". She was such a cutie. Mami has always been my favourite character from the series and these two were super adorable together. What would have been better is if she had a little more backstory If anything, I left the movie wanting to know more about this mysterious character. This movie also changed my opinion about Sayaka. I mentioned in my previous post about this series that I wasn't fond of her since her relationship seemed to be the forefront of her character. Now that she has developed into her own independent entity, I found her a much more intriguing character. Another character I loved, Homura kind of got shifted down the list a little bit.. I still find her character fascinating. I still think she's a good character. But not so much my favourite anymore. Overall, it was a good way to spend 2 hours (plus another hour to read peoples reviews and reactions to this movie!)

Here are 5 scenes I thought were interesting from the movie. Obviously spoilers if you've never seen it.
The very beginning of the movie. I really liked the opening, it was interesting and slightly weird. I thought the bear was cute in a creepy kind of way.

Of course, I loved the final battle most of all, but it's a little long~
It's where I got the most ~feels~ in the movie.
Anyways, this is how I felt about the movie. (^_^)
I look forward to any future sequels, if they get made.
