So, I finally watched the sequel to this series last night!
Oh wow.. I have a lot of thoughts about it.

I didn't know what to expect even though it had been out for awhile. I had not read any spoilers or seen anything from it. I think it's just a tad bit too old to really accidentally see spoilers from it. I was most impressed with the animation/music in the movie. I had always been interested in the disturbing Witch's labyrinths and the imagery was all over this movie. The visuals were definitely awesome. The battles were really great. I was thoroughly impressed.
The ending 20 minutes is where I start to divert like a lot of people. I understand the reasonings behind the creators for ending it like that. For some, Homura may have been in or out of character. It was an interesting move but not one I was such a fan of. I am curious to see how they may take this story further if they decided to make further sequels.
I was most happy with the new character "bebe". She was such a cutie. Mami has always been my favourite character from the series and these two were super adorable together. What would have been better is if she had a little more backstory If anything, I left the movie wanting to know more about this mysterious character.
This movie also changed my opinion about Sayaka. I mentioned in my previous post about this series that I wasn't fond of her since her relationship seemed to be the forefront of her character. Now that she has developed into her own independent entity, I found her a much more intriguing character. Another character I loved, Homura kind of got shifted down the list a little bit.. I still find her character fascinating. I still think she's a good character. But not so much my favourite anymore.
Overall, it was a good way to spend 2 hours (plus another hour to read peoples reviews and reactions to this movie!)

The very beginning of the movie.
I really liked the opening, it was interesting and slightly weird.
I thought the bear was cute in a creepy kind of way.

Of course, I loved the final battle most of all, but it's a little long~
It's where I got the most ~feels~ in the movie.
Anyways, this is how I felt about the movie. (^_^)
I look forward to any future sequels, if they get made.
