| I have lots of nailpolishes from E.L.F to review so I will start with one that I got in one of my most recent packages that I have not written about yet. I was really interested in this colour since purple is one of my favourite colours and I've been excited to have something glittery and pretty for winter time! Well, first rule of the website is to never trust the bottle or swatches. As you can tell by my nails in the below pic, this barely even constitutes as purple. :p I would almost call it a very dark purple-ish navy. There is minimal glitter in it as well with sparse blue and red glitters throughout. Though it doesn't match the site, I still think it's a pretty and worthy colour. It went on fairly nice and only needed two coats. Without sunlight it looks nearly black which I don't mind at all. I just wish it were a tad more purple considering the colour is called "Dark Glitter Purple". Nonetheless, it's still a pretty polish that I will get some wear out of. I haven't chipped them yet which is pretty good. Some of their other polishes chip on the same day so I'm decently impressed with the wearability of it. Some of them are really hit and miss but I would say this is a hit, if you weren't expecting a very glittery purple and more of a very dark neutral shimmery purple. I'll probably do much more of these polish reviews in the future as I have lots to wear and try~♥ |
