I've really gotten into Pokemon lately sooo~
I have bought my first -packs- of Pokemon cards!
I didn't buy a starter set since I'm not super interested in the TCG
and I mostly want to collect the really cute cards!
I pretty much hopped right into booster packs
I found this pack, which included three of them
I got it at Target for 9.99~
So, let's see what I got!
These are the three booster packs that came in the package
I don't know if they are the same for every single one of these particular packs
Some had different foil cards but this was the only Meowstic available

It has a really cool holographic effect going on
Aaand these are all the Pokemon cards that I pulled!
Boyfriend and I made it into a game and we put down all the cards face down and tried to see who could pick the best ones. The very first card I picked was a pikachu! It made me pretty excited. I think all of the cards have really cute art and though I may not recognize all of them, I definitely recognize a few.
I was also super excited to pull this card!
I'm not sure about how rare EX cards are but the art is certainly pretty amazing and it has a really neat design on it.
I feel pretty happy that I got it in my first booster pack(s).
And here's all the cards that boyfriend pulled!
He managed to get all of the trainer/stadium cards (^_^;;)
But he also got three holographic cards so that's pretty cool!
Aaand here's everything laid out!
I feel like I have started another collection I really didn't need to (^_^;)
But! This is something that me and boyfriend can collect together
So that makes me super happy!
I have already picked up a few more packs
so expect quite a few more of these kinds of posts in the future~!
Right now, my basic goal is to collect one card of every single Pokemon.
