That title is a bit long but...!
I really loved all the songs in Morning Musume's 59th single so I made an effort to cover them all within the week they came out. I managed to upload Sukatto this morning so I was happy I hit that goal for myself! I will link all of them below~
My first cover was "Oh My Wish"!
When I first heard this song, I really really liked it. I like a lot of MMs EDM singles and this was no exception. It got stuck in my head the first week I heard it. Initially it was my favourite but the other songs managed to grow on me. I also enjoyed the variance of centers with Zukki and Kudo having their chance to shine. Both did a great job in the PV! Singing this was fun as I got to use a more ~cooler~ voice though it was a little difficult for me. Mixing the more EDM songs isn't very fun as I still can't do fun effects, but hey, I try!
Second cover was "Imasugu Tobikomu Yuuki"
I won't lie, when I first heard this song, I really didn't like it. It sounded like another version of "Yuugure" from their last single on first listen and I just wasn't interested. It wasn't until I sat down and learned the lyrics when I really appreciated it. The song is so lovely and the PV is one of their prettiest yet. This has turned into my favourite song from the single. I tried to put passion into my singing as I felt the lyrics were very relatable. Lovely song and I liked it so much I covered the whole thing (which I know I don't do too often). This seems to be the case with most songs I cover, I either get tired of it or I really learn to appreciate and love it.
Last cover was "Sukatto My Heart"
The PV and outfits for this song are so cute! I love disco type songs and I really enjoyed this on first listen. It was super fun to sing, but oh goodness, the lyrics were really hard for me to grasp onto. I admit I fumbled quite a bit over my words despite recording this many, many times. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. Regardless of my apprehension, I tried to put a lot of energy into this very fun song.

Quite a difference from my "1 song a month" that I originally started out with over 2 years ago. Now 3 songs in a week! I'm not sure if I'll keep up this pace as I am busy with work and moving but I loved this single so much I really wanted to cover them all.
